Getting here
Marburg is on the Main-Weser railway: from 58 minutes by ICE to Frankfurt. Frankfurt Airport is 97 km away, and by road the B3 links the town with Gießen and Kassel.
Getting around
About 20 city bus lines, integrated in the RMV network, serve the town. Free public lifts take you from the Pilgrimstein up to the Oberstadt.

A town on a hillside
The Oberstadt, with its cobbled lanes, the market square and the Landgrafenschloss at the top, rises steeply above the Lahn. Wear comfortable shoes, or let the lifts do part of the climb.
